Home Tuition

It is from our many years of learning and teaching, and from the examples of the historic esteemed Ulamaa of our Deen, that we find that the sole reliance on tuition learning is discouraged, as this will deprive the student from many aspects of traditional Islamic learning, such as: etiquettes, correct environment, independence, and very importantly, building a good learning relationship with their Ustad. Just like we certainly prefer to send our children to school all day rather than having them taught at home, Islamic learning is no different at all.

Another learning option has recently become popular, especially due to its reduced costs, which is where children learn online from teachers in foreign countries. We have heard of many people experiencing phone calls from teachers abroad advertising distant learning. ECYS makes sure that its Madrasah students learn to become robust members of British society, and we make every effort to nurture the students according to the environment they are growing up in. Unfortunately, teachers in foreign countries, who are often in the Far East, are unlikely to be able to make such provisions, although, as a supplementary support to Madrasah attendance, it may be helpful, if taught correctly.

If your child is a student at one of our Madrasahs, then we would be happy to discuss supplementing their learning by providing qualified scholars to offer them home tuition.
