Harold Hill Mosque Purchase

“Those who spend their wealth (in Allah’s Cause) by night and day, in secret and in public, they shall have their reward with their Lord. On them shall be no fear, nor shall they grieve.”
(Al-Baqarah: 274)

All donations received into this savings account will be used for the sole purpose of purchasing a Mosque in Harold Hill, London Borough of Havering. This is in accordance with the constitution and aims & objectives of Essex Cultural and Youth Society.

We seek to raise sufficient funds so that when a suitable premises becomes available, Essex Cultural & Youth Society can purchase this inshaa-Allah. The purchase of a Mosque can cost anything from £500,000 to well over £1 million. Therefore, please involve family, friends and other organisations to support our cause so that we can really make this goal possible and successful.

Sadaqah can be given in the names of deceased relatives, and this will inshaa-Allah be presented to them by angels as a gift of light and Mercy for them in their graves.

If you wish to donate by cheque, please bring the cheque to the management at Jumuah Salaah or Madrasah.

(We would emphasise here that ECYS is a dynamic charity providing a whole range of essential services to the Muslim community of Harold Hill and local towns for several years. Our other charity account, details of which are provided in the ‘Donate’ sub-page titled ‘Harold Hill Mosque Functioning’, is used for the day-to-day functioning of our charity and so whoever donates into that ‘functioning’ account will reap the rewards of all those students and worshippers benefitting from those funds as well as the continuing rewards of protecting the Deen of Allah in these difficult times. Funds in that ‘functioning’ account are also the source of the foundations of the Mosque we will acheive in Harold Hill inshaa-Allah, and so we advise that donating into that ‘functioning’ charity account is exceedingly superior and will earn ongoing rewards.)
