Dr. Mudasir Nasir
Mr Kamran Rahman, a solicitor with over 30 years of experience, has been a valued and integral member of ECYS. He was a founding Trustee and helped the charity for many years completing its registration with the Charity Commission, providing legal advice, and making vital contributions to the Board of Trustees. He understood the needs of the community, the challenges found in community work, and was a pillar of support to our organisation.
ECYS has been fulfilling a massive responsibility as the only local Muslim organisation serving the faith needs of the fast growing diverse Muslim community within the predominantly non-Muslim population of Harold Hill and surrounding towns. Mr Kamran, with his legal expertise and extensive life experiences proved to be an invaluable asset working tirelessly for the charity and community without any remuneration. After many years of service he retired as a Trustee for ECYS in January of 2026, but continues to help and support the charity.
Our prayers are with Mr Kamran and the community shall remember him dearly.
