We thank Allah تعالى that we have been able to continue to provide Jumu’ah Salah facility weekly for the local Muslim communities of Harold Hill and Brentwood for many years as well as our Weekend Madrasah. Each year ECYS has organised Taraweeh Salaah with khatmul Qur’aan and both Eid Salaah, and alhamdulillah the local residents have taken active roles to make our community projects a lively success. Our goals can only be achieved with the Help of Allah تعالى, and we request you to offer your support to us and make Dua for our efforts.
Sadaqah can be given in the names of deceased relatives, and this will inshaa-Allah be presented to them by angels as a gift of light and Mercy for them in their graves.
As we are a registered charity we are able to claim gift aid on donations we receive.
Harold Hill Mosque:
Essex Cultural & Youth Society is striving to obtain permanent premises, freehold or leasehold, to establish a Mosque and community centre in Harold Hill. For this purpose we have a savings account for which the funds therein will only be used for the purchase of the Mosque in Harold Hill, London Borough of Havering. On a regular basis ECYS will be updating the community of the balance in this account, and members of the community are able to also make a request to the charity to see the balance if they desire, which we will inshaa-Allah be happy to provide. However, we do emphasise that we run a very dynamic charity providing essential services for the Muslim community such as several Madrasahs and daily prayers and community events, and so people funding our ‘functional’ charity bank account will reap the rewards and pleasures of Allah every time a student learns and every time a sajdah is made. However, if people would like to make donations to the charity for the sole purpose of purchasing a Mosque then they can donate into the charity account details of which are provided in the ‘Donate’ sub-page titled: ‘Harold Hill Mosque Purchase’.
ECYS thanks all those Brothers and Sisters who have contributed generously to our cause, and we pray that in-shaa-Allah تعالى their Sadaqah will be a salvation for them in both this World and the Hereafter, Aameen.
